Abstract. This article deals with the issue of Business Intelligence (BI), especially its next generation - Business
Discovery(BD). This tool can help to fill the gap between traditional solutions we get from BI and standalone office
productivity applications. Its users are able to forget new paths and make new discoveries. Here we want to
present BD as being thoroughly complementary to traditional ERP, CRM, BI, and data warehousing systems. BD
brings a whole new level of analysis, insight and value to the information stored within these systems. What is
more, its users are not burdened with interfaces which are difficult to use and configure.
