Abstract: The paper presents a general purpose software system for optimization and decision support, called Optima-Plus?. It consists of two independent parts _ LIOP-1 system and MKO-2.1 system. Optima-Plus? system is designed to support the decision maker (DM) in modeling and solving different problems of linear and linear integer single-criterion and multicriteria optimization. The system implements three methods for single-criterion optimization, as well as an innovative generalized interactive method for multicriteria optimization with variable scalarization and parameterization, which can apply most of the well-known scalarizing problems and is applicable for different ways of defining preferences by the DM. The class of the problems solved, the system structure, the implemented methods and the graphical user interface of the system are discussed in the paper. Optima-Plus? system can be used for education, research and for solving a great variety of real-life problems.

Abstract: One of the effective ways of the representation and analysis of the high level-purposes and business requirements to the information program system is modelling of a context of the system functioning – the organization which is automated by software creation and implementation. With this aim the domain specific language in the form of a UML profile for business modelling, where the basis is the systemological approach “Unit – Function – Object”, is defined. The profile allows to create syntactically correct UML models of business and to provide simplicity of the description of the dependences between them and UML models of the program system. Profile implementation, instruments of verification of syntax a business model and its transformation into a software model is fulfilled in a CASE tool for UML modelling.

By: Stoilov et al.  (3104 reads)
Rating: (7.00/10)

Abstract: Forming limit diagrams (FLD-s) deliver quantitative, graphical information concerning the ultimate ductility material my display under various strain conditions and boundary criterion of material failure in a deep drawing process. FLD-s are commonly obtained by usage of special samples – the so-called Nakazima’s bands. This method is realized in general as a circle grid is printed on the sheet surface and its deformation is measured after the forming. Different deformations transform the circles to ellipses, exhibiting a different eccentricity. A software system for quantitative determination the changes in lengths of both major and minor axes of ellipses, is presented in this report. The grid deformed images are captured in computer memory by a digital camera, equipped with a mechanical piece, allowing the camera optical axis to maintain orthogonal upon each local area of specimen surface. An interactive way of operator-computer work is proposed for ellipses geometry analysis. The two axes of each ellipse of interests are measured and data derived are presented graphically, and recorded in a data base as well. Using this information the main deformations of samples are calculated after that.

OUTSOURCING CONTRACTS: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW
By: Calvo-Manzano et al.  (2945 reads)
Rating: (1.00/10)

Abstract: This paper presents the application of a systematic review protocol for Software Engineering. This protocol is used as a formal model by applying systematic review of outsourcing contracts. The objective is to search for papers related to outsourcing contracts in the software acquisition process. Furthermore, the systematic review is focused in order to identify initiatives and reports of outsourcing contract proposals for the software acquisition. Results obtained show that most of the studies that tried to define a model for outsourcing did not exactly develop a fixed model to be used in the IT area and that there is a need for more in-depth studies.

GLOBAL MEMORY STRUCTURE FOR ANT COLONY OPTIMIZATION ALGORITHMS
By: Ángel Goñi, Paula Cordero  (3750 reads)
Rating: (1.00/10)

Abstract: Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) is a computer emergence model to solve problems by swarm intelligence. The aim of this paper is to provide ant colonies with a global memory structure (GMS) so that the time needed to resolve a problem decreases drastically. In the past few years ACO have become a strong alternative to classic algorithms. However, the biggest disadvantage of ACO is the lack of structures which can provide every individual of the population with simple memory mechanisms. The GMS presented in this paper is applied to cleaner robots that must search a gallery looking for piles of marks and clean them. It is based on the variation of the common map by deleting all the superfluous nodes which appears as the resolution of the problem progresses. A node is considered as superfluous when it is useless for every ant and it delays every route of the colony. All the robots must share and update the GMS when they find any superfluous node. The extra process charge needed for executing the memory in parallel to ant’s activities is absorbed by the time saved in the resolution of the problem which depends on the characteristics of the map and its abstracted graph.

Abstract: In this paper we present CompariSong? - a resolver of the query by humming task for a real audio information system. It compares a database of popular songs with a hummed-by-user melody and returns the closest matches. The proposed system performs audio indexing based on perceptual characteristics of the songs rather than the hitherto applied approach that uses manual metadata like text tags. We extract low-level audio features and transform them into a tangible indexing format. Then searching mechanism is applied that is based on comparison between the shape of the time series of extracted features. CompariSong? is a step towards intelligent audio analysis as it uses a comparison criteria derived from natural human hearing.

INFORMATION MODELS OF CUSTOMERS IN CRM AND E-CRM SYSTEMS
By: Justyna Stasieńko  (3082 reads)
Rating: (1.00/10)

Abstract: The following article deals with customer personality in the CRM systems. Its innovatory approach consists in the method of segmentation performed according to one of psychological factors - personality. The analysis is based on the assumption that the class of customers can be divided into separate types. This is possible due to the preservation of a large internal homogeneity within every type (homogeneous groups) and a considerable differentiation among types. The article argues that the classification of customers should be based on the criterion which has an essential influence on their behavior. Such a criterion is the customer personality. Accordingly, this division can make up a good basis for the CRM strategy: 1) the elaboration of several diverse scripts of the customers service suitably to distinguished groups; 2) the individualization of the service. It can be concluded that such a modeling will allow to supplement the CRM programmes with a module of an individual and institutional customers practical service.

Rating: (1.00/10)

Abstract: Methods for calculation of quality indexes for automatic control systems are presented. For the optimization of quality indexes defined only in a stability domain a vector objective function of varied parameters of the system is proposed. The stepwise principle of successive satisfaction of constraints for the passage into the definition domain of quality indexes is considered, as well as a rational mechanism of its realization in the form of the priority optimization of the vector objective function. For the optimization of the vector objective functions genetic algorithms as vector optimization methods are presented. Their application allows one to steer the optimization process from any initial point of the space of varied parameters into the stability domain of the system and to find the optimum of the quality indexes in this domain. The efficiency of the proposed application of vector genetic algorithms for the quality indexes optimization is confirmed by computational experiments.
